Nail Scissors, Straight Blades, 3-1/2in

Question:	curved blades are pictured for these scissors but it sails they have straight blades. Are these scissors strong enough for trimming ingrown toenails as well as fingernails? My podiatrist recommeded I use straight bladed scissors. Are they stainless steel?
Answer:	This product is made from stainless steel, but may not have the leverage to get through to a deep seated ingrown nail. You may wish to also consider Ingrown Nail Splitting Scissors, 6in, Straight, One Serrated Blade item# 091-228FSI. These are more expensive, but given the potential cost of surgery and the level of discomfort, they may be worth the investment.
