When Your Need a Sink to Last Forever!
When it comes to choosing sinks for a commercial, industrial, or healthcare environment, there is no substitute for quality, safety, and cost-efficiency. Compared to ceramic sinks, plastic sinks, and other metal sinks, stainless steel sinks are more durable, easier to clean, easier to maintain, don’t retain odors, and cost less. The chromium content in the alloy makes stainless steel resistant to corrosion, oxidation, staining, and erosion. As well, it’s the chromium content that gives stainless steel its aesthetic luster, providing a professional and modern appeal to any setting. Stainless steel sinks are easy to clean of bacteria and germs, making them an excellent choice for surgical suites, kitchens, bars, and many other applications.
If you’ve been looking for stainless steel sinks for equipment cleaning, hand washing, food preparation, dish washing, surgical tool cleaning and more, rest assured, your options are unlimited. Stainless steel sinks are designed to meet any commercial need while providing the safety, design, and durability your specific industry demands.
The body and bowl(s) of stainless steel sinks are made of 16 gauger 304 stainless steel. Look for an Aero Safety Edge, meaning the sinks are hemmed on the roll and backsplash to eliminate cuts from rough edges. Plumbing features include a water supply that is ½” on hot and cold sides and faucet holes with an 8” outside circumference. Sinks feature 7' or 10” backsplash, an 18-guage stainless steel strip to cover seams between bowls, and the legs have stainless steel cross bracing with aluminum castings at all intersections commonly polished to #4 blended finish.
If space is a concern for your environment, look for compact stainless steel sinks with one or two basin options. Larger areas can accommodate three or even four basin options. Also check features like drain boards on the left, right, or on both sides. Faucets, Baskets, Side Splashes and P-Trap Overflow are additional add on options. At the end of the day, you are sure to find the perfect stainless steel sink.
